Terms & Conditions

Please be advised to read the following terms and conditions. Once you place an order with us, you will be bound by the following terms.
 
Repair Notice
The repair of your goods may result in the loss of any user-generated data. Please ensure that you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods.
 
Delivery
Each order placed on Mobilemedic.com.au comes with a Free Post Returns Service and Return Delivery by AUS Post. While placing the order, you can opt for either posting your device via a courier service of your choice or using our Next Day Free Returns Address service.
 
Shipping and Reimbursement
Since Mobilemedic.com.au provides its own free of cost shipping service, no additional shipping cost refundable.
 
Damaged Item: 
If under any scenario, you were to receive a damaged item, we recommend that contacting us is the first thing you do. You can contact our customer service here cs@Mobilemedic.com.au. Make sure that you do not throw away any of the packaging as we will need you to send this back to us with the item, so we can work on your claim in a better way. The claim may take up to 28 days to process.
 
Mail-in your device
It is advised that you take your packaged device to the post office rather than the post box in order to avoid any delay in the service. For other details refer to the mailing guide we’ve sent you.
 
Non-Refundable Repairs: 
Certain repair services offered by MobileMedic are non-refundable. These include liquid damage repairs and/or liquid damage related repairs and diagnostics.
 
Prices
The prices of the services provided by MobileMedic are subject to change without any prior notice to the customers. The prices stated in the promotional items can only be availed as long as the promotion is valid. All prices are inclusive of GST and delivery charges.
 
Payment
Mobilemedic.com.au accepts payments made by Credit cards and direct bank transfer. When returning the device, we will ship the item to the address that you’ve provided us via our website. All the payments must be made prior to the return of the device.
 
Cancellations 
If you wish to cancel your repair, you must do this before you send the device. Once we have received the device and depending on the repairs that need to be carried out, we may not be able to cancel the order. However, if we can, an additional postage charge shall be deducted from your repair cost.

We reserve the right to make changes to this website and terms and conditions. We operate a no fix, no fee policy under which we do not charge any fee if we cannot fix your device. However, if we have diagnosed the issue, but you want to cancel the order for whatsoever reason, then we will charge you a diagnostic fee of AUD $10 and postage costs. The customer also pays for two-way postage if they decide to cancel the order after posting it to us.
 
Lifetime Warranty Conditions, Exclusions and Limitations
The following is a list of conditions, exclusions and limitations in regards to MobileMedic lifetime warranty policy.
If Your Device should malfunction, it must be returned to the MobileMedic store or service centre for evaluation, and all costs of shipping shall be borne solely by the customer. MobileMedic will diagnose the repair upon receipt, following an examination conducted by MobileMedic. If Your Device is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced at no charge.
 
  • This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from any action by you, including but not limited to mishandling, physical damage, water damage, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, improper repair by someone other than MobileMedic, use of any other product other than MobileMedic products, or unauthorised modification.
 
  • This warranty is VOID if Your Device shows evidence of having been tampered with (broken seal) or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or vibration; improper specification; misapplication; misuse; abuse or other operating conditions outside of MobileMedic’s control.
 
  • The warranty is VOID if customer performs any software modifications not limited to restore, updating software on the device, downloading unauthorised or unapproved software, viruses, malware, spyware, or attempts to modify any software that has been installed by MobileMedic.
 
  • This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to any purchaser who bought the product from a reseller or distributor not authorise d by MobileMedic, including but not limited to purchases from internet auction sites.
 
Unless otherwise required by law, all replaced devices, parts, components, boards and equipment shall become the property of MobileMedic, and you waive all rights you may have under state or other laws to the replaced device or repaired or replaced parts. MobileMedic will be responsible to the extent provided under applicable law for the physical safekeeping of Your Device while in MobileMedic’s possession for service. If Your Device is lost or damaged while it is in MobileMedic’s possession for service, MobileMedic will repair Your Device or replace it with an equivalent device, which at MobileMedic’s option may be new or refurbished.
If you fail to pick up your device or otherwise arrange for its return after repeated efforts to contact you, after thirty (30) days following the completion of repairs MobileMedic shall treat the device as abandoned, and may dispose of the property in its sole discretion in accordance with applicable provisions of law, including sale to recoup administrative and repair costs.
 
Repair Process and Delays
We work with the aim of repairing your device within 24 to 48 hours of receiving it. However, no promises are made since every repair varies in time and complexity. MobileMedic may encounter further issues that may slow down the process, if for any reason your repair takes longer than it should, you will be notified with the reason and the estimated completion date.
Alternatively, you can track your repair status via logging into our website for any new developments in relation to your repair.
We always make our best efforts to notify the customer if any additional procedures are needed as this may be required additional charges, we will ask for permission to carry on as we will not be liable for the cost of the replacement LCD.
Liquid Damage repairs can take up to 5 – 9working days.
Orders which have multiple repairs or require additional repairs may take longer. Any time estimate for completion of the repair service, which may be given to you, is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this agreement.
If we receive your device and no fault is detected, we will send it back and refund you the difference. However, there will be an AUD $20 handling fee deducted—this will cover only the postage & diagnostic costs.

Additional Repairs
When you send your mobile device in to us for a repair, it is rigorously tested by several different testers and departments and sometimes additional faults are found. If we find an additional fault with your mobile device, we will send you an additional repair payment request via email. It is your decision to choose to proceed or not.
If you choose to go ahead with the repair, once we receive the payment, your mobile device will be passed back to our technicians to continue the repair work. If you decline, we will stop the work and send the mobile device back as it is.

Waterproof Repairs
During a waterproof device repair, we cannot guarantee that your device will be 100% waterproof after the repair process has been complete, as the device required manufacturer’s factory’s special machines and special liquid-proof gaskets to perform such task.
 
Your Data
You are solely responsible for backing up any data on Your Device and deleting, encrypting or otherwise protecting your data from unauthorised use. MobileMedic will not back up or restore your data, and is not responsible for any data that is lost or corrupted. MobileMedic will not treat data on Your Device as confidential and disclaims any agreement with you or other obligation to do so.
We accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that such data is removed from the mobile device before sending the device to MobileMedic.
 
Liability
If your device is damaged beyond economical repair through our negligence or will full misconduct, our liability will be limited to the cost of providing a replacement with a product that is the same or similar to your device. You have the sole responsibility for any data stored on your device and we accept no liability for any loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
When sending in a damaged device, our technicians will probably need to open the device to either diagnose or repair it. This comes with an element of risk and may result in some minor damages to your device. We do everything possible to ensure this doesn’t happen. However, if it does happen and the damages are significant, we will offer a replacement or repair. We will not be responsible for any damage or fault caused by a previous repair.
When sending in your mobile phone for screen repair or home button repair, MobileMedic will not be held responsible if the Touch ID feature does not work after the repair is carried out.
 
Legal:
For all services the customer must sign this legally binding terms and conditions document prior to the commencement of work on this count — guaranteeing neither is the case — and indemnifying MobileMedic fully and completely from any liability that may arise due to any misrepresentation or negligence on their part. At any time prior to completion of a service MobileMedic can change, amend or edit any part of the terms and conditions.
 
Contract Basis between the Company and the Client
We provide our exceptional services for those who are requesting a quotation on our website. The ability of the registered users to comply with the terms and conditions mentioned herein, determines the acceptance or rejection of the order by our side. If the order is accepted, a contract is formed between you and Mobilemedic.com.au.
The contract begins when you place an order with us (more information available under the How It Works tab).
You must only send over the phone which you own the absolute rights for along with the title and the interest. Once we receive your phone and the payment, the contract will be established, and the analysis of your phone will begin.
The user cannot assign or transfer the obligations and rights that may arise in the contract to any other user or person without prior intimation to us. The contract cannot be transferred but can be sub-contracted to another user.
 
Diagnostic Services: 
The diagnostic fee covers one-way shipping and handling costs only and will be deducted from any repair cost if you decide to go ahead with a repair. The diagnostic is in the process throughout the duration of the time your device is in our possession as this is an ongoing process.
 
Returns: 
We will attempt a re-repair on your mobile device twice after the initial repair. If after this, the mobile device is still faulty we will issue a refund (minus postage and handling costs). We will need to see the mobile device and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund. This does not include diagnostic and water damage related repairs.
